Last Friday, a group of dental students from the Medical University of Karaganda visited an excursion of the Zhemchuzhina Stomed Group of Companies in Kostanay.
There was a detailed review of the dental clinics “Stom Elite”, “Stom Classic” and “Stomatosha”.
The excursion for future certified dentists was conducted by the director of the dental network. Students got acquainted with the latest equipment of clinics, learned that dentistry uses modern technologies, treatment under a microscope and 3D computer diagnostics.

- People living with HIV have the opportunity to speak out on important issues in their lives.
- Groups of people living with HIV and other community-based AIDS organizations are mobilizing to support and raise funds for the communities in which they work.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HIV/AIDS?
HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is the smallest virus that causes HIV infection. The penetration of the virus into the human body causes weakening and destruction of the immune system, which protects the human body from diseases by identifying and destroying tumor cells and pathogens.
AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is a condition that develops against the background of HIV infection and is characterized by a decrease in the number of CD4+ lymphocytes, multiple opportunistic infections, non-infectious and tumor diseases. AIDS is the terminal stage of HIV infection.
As part of raising awareness of the population about HIV infection, employees of the AIDS center together with employees of polyclinic No. 5 held an exhibition on the basis of the Higher Medical College of Kostanay. Anonymous testing of students was also carried out.
