Screenings

SCREENING is a preventive medical examination of healthy individuals of a certain age (target population groups), which is carried out to identify risk factors and diseases in the early stages. Its implementation will improve the effectiveness of treatment and prevent the development of complications.

The following screenings are performed in our clinic:

• for early detection of diseases of the circulatory system (arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease) and diabetes mellitus, anthropometric measurements (height, body weight, waist circumference), blood pressure measurements, determination of blood glucose and cholesterol levels are carried out for men and women aged 40-70 years ;
• for early detection of glaucoma (increased intraocular pressure), intraocular pressure is measured for men and women aged 40-70 years;
• for early detection of cancer and precancerous conditions of the mammary gland, an X-ray examination of the mammary glands (mammography) is performed for women aged 50-70 years;
• for early detection of cancer and precancerous conditions of the cervix, a cytological examination of a smear from the cervix is ​​performed to exclude pathological changes in women aged 30-70 years;
• for early detection of cancer and precancerous diseases of the colon and rectum (colorectal cancer), stool testing for occult blood is carried out for men and women aged 50-70 years;

 

If necessary and indicated, electrocardiography and examination by a doctor at the family health center, cardiologist, endocrinologist, ophthalmologist, obstetrician-gynecologist, mammologist, oncologist, surgeon, proctologist, gastroenterologist, and urologist are performed.

Screening is carried out at the medical organization to which you are assigned.
