Endodotia
Root canal treatment or endodontic treatment is one of the important stages of complex dental treatment. Moreover, without high-quality endodontics, it is difficult to imagine the successful implementation of subsequent stages of treatment, such as prosthetics and restoration.
You need endodontic treatment if:
- There is “night” pain in the tooth or pain when biting
- Aching pain from thermal (temperature) stimuli, which continues after the cessation of the stimulus
- The presence of a fistulous tract on the gum
- Pain after tooth injury
- A foreign body has been removed from the root canal or the perforation has been closed (creating a false tract)
- A filling or crown has fallen out.
Stages of endodontic treatment
- Individual selection of anesthetic (pain-relieving solution) and anesthesia
- Removal of nerve (pulp)
- Mechanical and medicinal treatment of root canals, cleaning of canals using instruments and chemical solutions
- Root canal filling.
