Fixed prosthetics
Our clinics offer a full range of prosthetic services:
- Microprosthetics. Thanks to veneers, it is possible to restore a tooth while maintaining the aesthetics of a smile. Most often they are installed on the front teeth, which allows them to improve color and change shape. Veneers help maintain the integrity of the front teeth.
- Installation of orthopedic crowns. With the help of crowns, most of the damaged teeth can be restored. This method is used in cases where filling the coronal part is impossible, but the root remains intact.
- Bridge prosthesis. Installed when two or more teeth are missing in a row. Several units (crowns) are connected to each other using a special structure that is fixed to the supporting teeth.
Prosthetics on implants
If there is sufficient bone tissue, the patient can have an implant installed, which will serve as an independent support for the crown. In the absence of several teeth, several implants are installed, which subsequently makes it possible to make a bridge-like prosthesis supported by implants. The uniqueness of the technique is that your teeth remain intact and unharmed. Also, removable prosthetics are made using implants when there are no teeth at all.
Removable prosthetics
Prosthetics with removable dentures is a method that allows you to restore the functionality of the teeth, as well as eliminate the aesthetic deficiencies of the dentition. This method is used in situations where permanent prosthetics are impossible. The process itself involves the installation of dental structures, which, if desired and necessary, can be removed without outside help.
There are several types of removable dentures:
Clasp – a structure based on a metal frame. A plastic or nylon base with artificial teeth is attached to it on top. Often the clasp is supplemented with a fixation system made of metal clasps.
Plate – Similar structures are made of acrylic and nylon. They are used in cases of complete absence of teeth or terminal defects.
How is prosthetics performed?
To carry out high-quality dental prosthetics, several visits to an orthopedic dentist will be required.
During the first visit, the specialist will examine your dental system to offer the most effective and comfortable ways to solve the problem.
After the examination, a diagnosis is carried out to identify the structural features of the dental system, the volume of bone tissue, and other things. A treatment plan is discussed and agreed upon with the patient.
If there are no contraindications for the chosen treatment method and the patient is satisfied with everything, then preparations for the installation of a prosthesis begin: treatment of caries, removal of dental plaque, removal of teeth that can no longer be restored.
